UPBC Kids

“We exist to aid parents as they equip their children for a lifetime of following Jesus in the context of the local church”

Welcome to UPBC Kids! Your children will experience engaging, age-appropriate lessons from the Bible each week that teach them about Jesus. We want your experience with your children at University Park Baptist Church to be as smooth as possible. To that end, here is what you need to know about our Children’s Ministry:

  • Nursery: Infants to 3 years: Nursery across from the Main Hall

PK-1st grade: Fellowship Hall Room #1

2nd-4th grade: Fellowship Hall Room #2

5th-6th grade: Fellowship Hall Room #3

  • We have several options for your child during our worship service. We also welcome your child to sit with you and participate in the service.

  • We take the safety of all children at UPBC very seriously. All classrooms have at least 2 teachers/volunteers at all times, and all teachers and volunteers have completed abuse and discipline training, a background check, and are approved by the Children’s Director. Due to limited volunteers in each class, we ask that each parent take your children to the restroom prior to signing them into class.  When a child needs to use the restroom during class, the teacher will call the parent for the parent to come take the child to the restroom.

  • A volunteer or staff member will help you sign your children in on a tablet. You will receive a name tag for your child to wear, and a security tag with a unique code for you to keep. When picking up your child, please bring your tag to your child’s teacher to match the code to your child.

  • In order to insure a safe and healthy environment for all children and the nursery volunteers, we cannot accept any child if he/she has any of the following symptoms within the past 24 hours:

    ·       Diarrhea

    ·       Vomiting

    ·       Fever (100 or above)

    ·       Undiagnosed rash

    ·       Open sores

    ·       Nasal discharge (anything but clear)

    ·       Secretion of the eye(s)

    ·       Lice

    ·       Other communicable illnesses

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to care for your precious one! If you have any questions or concerns regarding our Children’s Ministries, please do not hesitate to ask any member who will direct you to the correct person. We are excited to continue to get to know you and your children!
